Another weird birdy

Victorinox, Y U make so many confusingly similar/different details and models

So, the seller claims this Vic is from 1974, as new, in box.

So far I have learned that the trilangular shield logo does not neccessarilly equal the Elinox brand. Economy Vics sometimes used these as well. OK, we solved that.

What is bugging me is this combo tool, as far as I know, the combo tool was introduced in the 80s...? On the box drawing, you can clearly see a combo tool, not a bottle opener.

I suspect it is an economy Victorinox Waiter, NOT from the 1974, but later....

  • Don't judge a tool by it's brand

Not sure if I'm seeing it wrong, but it also seems like the corkscrew isn't grooved, either...

If you look at the second spin, that looks like it would be grooved...

Why not ask for better/more photo's. Not that I think you are missing out on a priceless gem, I must have about half a dozen of these stashed away.

My thoughts exactly. It isn't that rare and the asking price is relatively high - about $17.

I will ask for more photos, but I am more and more likely to skip this one. If the price was lower, I might consider it.

Thanks everyone for the input so far.
