SOG multi spotted in Ray Mears Goes Walkabout.

Just saw the latest episode of Ray Mears' latest survival fest and spotted him using a BO multi to construct a camp fire stand. As the tool was BO'd, it was a little tricky to recognise in the brief few seconds it was shown, but thanks to the technological marvel that is the BBC iPlayer I was able to go straight to the section, pause it when he used the awl and identified it as a SOG one.

Strangely though, he doesn't seem to endorse multis on his website.

I've not seen it yet (sky plussed it) so my finger's are firmly in my ears atm

We've seen Vic and Leatherman tools in outdoors shows, but so far I haven't heard of SOG out in the wilderness.

He's making a hole in the bottom of an empty can so that it can act as both the support for a campfire tripod and the support for the pot hook.

I watched the show but thought it was a LM because in one of his bushcraft guide from a few years ago, he mentioned multis are useful to have in the wild and showed a pic of a LM and wrote Lm was one of the company making a good product. Don't think it should be taken as an endorsement though.

I think it was a Sog, as it was certainly fat enough to have been one

Definitely a SOG micky. They have very distinctive awls and I'm positive that's a SOG awl.
