Indeed, I was referring to the lovely looking luncheon meat topped with what appears to be a tasty, soft cheese. It looks like a bologna-type sausage with small bit of vegetable matter incorporated. In the USA, we have a similar product that incorporates olives, and for the lucky, jalapeños. Yum.

Indeed, I was referring to the lovely looking luncheon meat topped with what appears to be a tasty, soft cheese. It looks like a bologna-type sausage with small bit of vegetable matter incorporated. In the USA, we have a similar product that incorporates olives, and for the lucky, jalapeños. Yum.
I wasn't kidding sir, this expression was unknown for me. The soft cheese was Brie and as I'm vegetarian it wasn't meat sausage. I show you what it is, now topped with a nice blue Cadet and you have the chance to practice some German  :D -

Mein lieber El Korkenzieher, es ist ja unglaublich, denn ich lerne von dir aus Amerika sogar ein neues Wort bzw. Gericht - Tempeh. Es war mir bisher unbekannt und nachdem ich mich erkundigt habe, muss ich sagen, dass es aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach auch gar nicht mein Geschmack ist.
Nun sollten wir aber die Sprache wieder wechseln und zum Thema zurückkehren, bevor Unruhe im Forum aufkommt ... Davor noch schnell ein Gruß an dich!
