That is just stupid expensive. And if they were cheaper it would still be stupid.

Agreed! Utterly ridiculous!

Mount a SAK to the end of a pole so it rotates and locks and you can DIY!

Nice novelty item, the spear or the fork may work, but a small saw or a slingshot on top of a long stick....

Both will work, too.

You can buy small saws on a stick, for cutting branches in a (not to big) tree without needing a ladder, in each home-improvement-center.

And the slingshot will work as every other one, just that you don´t need to hold it with one hand alone but can stick it´s end in the ground - which might even minimize the arm movement and level up the target efficiency.

But the product and it´s price is still raising a big laugh.
Have fun.

Bye,
Michael

In re-thinking this I realize that you could just bring two multi tools (one with a saw) and a couple hose clamps. Then find yourself a branch.

You need two MTs, one to mount on the branch (with appropriate tool opened) and one to screw down the hose clamps. Since everyone has at least two MT's all you really need is a two pack of hose clamps. To have more choices in branch thickness you just need a variety of clamps.

I'm not over thinking this am I?
