Just get both... :pok:

It's the MTo way :D

That's what I was going to say lol

I think we both understand the MTo mentality JA :D.

I know I have many tools in my collection that were bought because of it :tu:.

Seriously I really like this tool.

I've used all its functions some of them quite a few times except the can opener  and im very pleased with it.

It does suck that the tool I am using has flaws but they haven't made any difference in how good the Surge has been working out for me.

I think I am going to have to find a deal on a Ss surge for a backup.

I'd be lost without the surgical staff . I've got to used to having them all around.

Yes, Joel is very good at selling these tools he reviews.  He is quite the enabler, even if it isn't always intentional ;)

Haha, I wouldn't say I threw away the Flik money ;)  The Surge would indeed be a good quality purchase I'm sure, but considering the prices I'm seeing are in the $85-$100+ range, I don't think that will be happening anytime soon, especially for a tool that I may not even be able to carry

I'm thinking about sending the Surgeon in for repair or replacement.

The plane edge blade is so lose it might be unsafe.

That's a bummer Joel.  At least you should have a nice, tight blade when LM sends it back.  I'm sure that will feel much nicer to handle :tu:

That really sucks JA. Hope you get it sorted and start using it again soon.

The first thing I checked when I got my surge was for that blade play and there is none at all. I hope it stays this way. Rossko.

I bet that they would fix or replace it in a couple of weeks.  During the interim, you could use a Classic SD.  Its pretty much the same thing as a Surge.

The generous owner of this tool is swapping me a flawless ss surge for this black one. It should be here Friday.

I carried my Bo rebar today.  I just got it back from leatherman and I had to use it. I've missed it. Nice and light.

We have a new Dr on staff.

The new Surgeon doesn't have a shake in him.
We can't have blades wobbling around when we're operating.

A big Thanks to the interesting fellow who like to see his tools used a little  .

thanks again man.

The flawless stainless surge will make this review alot more fun for me.
