I think after work tomorrow, I will try and get a boxed copy of Fallout 4. I have been re-playing New Vegas for a few days now to get back up to speed.

I have managed to restrain myself from pulling the trigger... mainly because I'd have to reboot into windows to play. And I have far too many other things I need to look after and complete first.  :ahhh :bnghd:

That's what I found too.

Those two pretty good, which would you suggest as the one to get to break my cherry?

Personally I liked New Vegas more, but people say that 3 was more to the roots. The big decider is that 3 is based in DC and is more urban type of stuff, New Vegas is like Wild West meets apocalypse meets Las Vegas in the 50s. Which is why I liked NV better

Which is bigger, like I will get more play time out of it?

Id grab Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, that game was released first anyhow, and the GOTY addition comes with all the downloadable addons, and some were quite good.  I bet you can find that for $20.

My GF is playing Fallout 4 since last night.

She had problems with it crashing every 5 minutes. Literally.

She cleared her game and re installed it and it's fine now.

For me, I'm not impressed with the graphics, it's highly interactive but the story line seems okay.

I am currently playing the game, and I must say...not that impressed.

Lots of small bugs...and some things not as good as NV.

I wish I still had all my old consoles. I do still have my SNES I bought in the 90's (I think). Its still in the original box with all the paperwork. Missing a power cord and the game, but I can replace those eventually.

Speaking of....... any extra SNES power cords?  :pok: :D

I read a lot of people having issues with the PC version... including some rants about buying the physical copy in store and then ending up downloading the whole game to install (21gb or some insane size) to install... Assuming that's since they linked it to steam...

If anyone is interested in the PC version if you buy it through the humble bundle store some portion of it goes to charity (and it's the same price as via steam, but is still redeemed via steam)

Well I've downloaded it and so far so good.  Have to say that some of the controls don't feel all that intuitive and if you didn't know your way around a Fallout game already you'd be stuffed IMO.

Anyway, it's been nice chatting and all but I'll see you in a few weeks. :D

I agree! I'm taking my time on the main story line and just running and doing side stuff for now. I don't know about you, but it actually seems quite a bit more difficult than the other two. I find myself dead a lot more than I'm accustomed to
