I got mine in today, and boy was I surprised at the content.

I pulled out this nice Victorinox knife and just couldn't figure out what it was. I mean, I even looked on SAKWiki to no avail. Then I did some digging on here and found my answer...I think. I will say, very very nice work, and thank you Syph007 (if I figured this out correctly).

I think I have a custom blacked out Spartan. Even the liners are blacked out. Man, does this knife look menacing and all tactical. Very nice, and I like it quite a lot. Great quality work throughout.

The best part, I did not have one in my collection.  :climber:

Glad it made it safe.   :tu:  I figured if I sent you something I make then you wouldnt already have one.  :D
That knife is so shiny it shows Chakos fingerprints...

now we can frame him for murder >:D

:D

I didnt realize I one up'd the black ice spartan.  They didnt BO the spacer under the knife tip, but I did. :D  Well I remade it from aluminum so it was anodized.

Fantastic work. I think I may have to visit the mod section more often. I keep saying this to myself, but just somehow rarely do. I seriously didn't know what I had in my hand at first. I looked at it and thought to myself, this is interesting. It didn't dawn on me it was a custom job until I searched on the forum. Lucky for me, the right thread came up third from the top.

Thank you Syph007. I know a lot of folks have stated this...but you do excellent work.  :salute:

Great gifts, great fun.
My main reason for not entering was the scary international shipping laws and costs (and seeing how hard and expensive it was to ship just a lowly Classic, it seems I was right), however I think I found a nice workaround now.
Will definitely enter next year.

I realised that I forgot to include a card with my package and didn't put my full name (or forum name) on it either.    Whoever gets what I sent will have to work out who it came from.

If the recipient finds out who sent him the package, I`ll gladly sing him/her a christmas carol if he calls.
At least I used nice wrapping paper.

I don't remember if I signed the card but from some of the contents it is easy to relate with the country of origin.

I received my Christmas gift from Hyatt181 (Ken).  Awesome stuff, which I love.

- NIB Victorinox Minichamp
- Pocketwrench II
- 5x lanyards
- 2x clip-on lights
- 91mm Plus scales, and
- Uncle Bill's Sliver Gripper tweezers

Every single item will get used and enjoyed for a long time to come.  Thanks, Ken.  You rock.  Thanks also to Queen Ashley of the Mountain People for running this show.

I swear I did not bribe Ashley to get a gift giver from Switzerland, home of my favorite tool company.... :D

This came in from the OVERLY generous Etherealicer yesterday.  There was a gift marked for Syph Jr, and Mrs Syph as well.  Syph Jr and I built the mechano motorcycle last night and he says thanks.  Mrs Syph ate the chocolates with morning tea today so they are not pictured, she says thanks as well!

Nice wenger I did not have, and even Victorinox playing cards!   :tu:

That odd orange tool was marked as the weirdest swiss branded folding knife... Its got 2 implements, knife and labotimizer?

Thanks Etherealicer for youre over the top generosity to me and my family.   :salute:

Minichamp and Pocketwrench, two of my favorites. Very nice gifts.

Its regular French playing cards* but its only 36 cards (from 6 to ace) as used when you play the traditional Swiss card game Jass

* That is the common playing card look (see link above), they didn't have Swiss cards anymore.

The odd tool is a Strawberry knife , no idea how and what for you use it.

Glad you didn't have the little Wenger. Hope the wife made herself a hot-chocolate for breakfast too...

Ah... that makes sense.  The serrated melon baller thing must be to remove the strawberry stem.

mine arrived today! :woohoo: sorry for the flash-heavy pics, but I didn't want to wait for better lighting because that would have meant waiting until daylight tomorrow. :D

I received a very generous gift from eddie1115... a Huntsman, a Compact, and an iTP A3 EOS Titanium light! :o

eddie and I completed a trade a couple months ago where he traded me a modded Yeoman, and he put new Sapphire plus scales on it for me. why do I bring this up? because he remembered how badly I wanted green scales, but we couldn't find any green plus scales at the time of our trade! these translucent green (emerald?) plus scales are gorgeous... now I just have to decide whether to put them on the Yeoman or leave them on the Compact. truly a terrible problem to have, I know. ::)

thank you very much, eddie. this was a great gift to receive, and it really made my day. :) now I've just got to carry this Huntsman and Compact as much as I can in the next 5 days before Kampfer's Skeletool challenge begins...

oh, and you have great taste in lights as well... my normal EDC light is an Olight i3S. ;) might have to give that one a break and go with titanium for awhile! :D
