How much can a G-shock take?

My point is, that a new watch will still have very elastic plastic and can withstand a lot. However, cheap stuff usually looses that elasticity (and its coloring) quicker.
Lots of cheap stuff can perform excellent but commonly it cannot perform well over and over again.

Honestly, i forgot to check the accuracy before I put it in.  So I dont know.
If it did loose some time it wasnt much.

Maybe doing this test again after you have driven over it. Body will bent when you put that much pressure on it. Gaskets have moved atleast little...

Me too man, as I need a watch, and am tired of wishing I had one whenever I want to look down at my wrist to see the time.

I think I will be finding out after work, as she decided to give me my gift early.  However, I don't know if this will be it, or if she's trying to be clever by giving me a gift and keeping another gift as a surprise on Christmas.  Very kind and generous of you to offer though Thomas   I will see if I can remember the model.

Thanks Derek   I hope this won't turn into another addiction like the MTs/SAKs   I really don't think it will though.  This looks to be a great watch, and one I likely would have no reason to replace or add other watches to make a rotation....that's the last thing I need
