Multitool usage on Thanksgiving?
on: November 28, 2014, 07:50:03 PM
I used an Atwood Keyton to open bottles, a CRKT Stubby Razel to open feed bags and cut baling twine AND Wenger minigrip to open the packaging on the turkey and to cut cooking twine.

How about you?

I used the can opener on my Micra to open a couple beer bottles for brunch yesterday  :drink:
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Surge to assemble new whiteboards and stands. No holiday here in Canada. We've already had Thanksgiving.

Super300 to adjust the burner on turkey fryer.
Vic Champion plus can opener.
LM keychain/carabineer tool bottle opener.
Vic Sentinel to cut BBQ ribs and fajitas.

Honorable mention CRKT EatNtool, didn't need it but it was there and at the ready just in case.
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.

Used my Surge to open cans, open food packages, tighten a handle on a pot, cut down some cardboard and cut some wire.

My friends son carries a BO Rebar and said his Rebar was commissioned to open bottles on Thanksgiving.  He pretty much carries it full time other than when in school.

Had that happen at a Christmas party many years ago. My Charge XTi was the only bottle opener in the office and the boss brought in beer that needed a cap lifter .

Needless to say, the lineup was substantial and I was pretty proficient with the opener before the party was over.

Used the corkscrew on my 91mm Vic mod to open a bottle of wine for the ladies. The synthetic "cork" seemed especially hard to pull but was no match for me and my SAK :viking:
