Similar, but different.  The Husky is uncomfortable to use because of the outside opening tools.

I wish they didn't use that kind of spring. A standard pruners spring would be much better and easier to replace if lost.

I agree, in addition the coiled spring just looks nicer (actually a better phrase might be "more expensive") and is probably much easier to clean.
