Shoot, I almost forgot to add the current crown jewel of my Leatherman collection, my original Supertool (1995) that my father-in-law gave me a few months ago, with the original leather sheath.  I'll get a picture once I get my phone back.

Very nice...so was that something that got you started with collecting Leatherman tools?

Welcome aboard!  :tu:

It actually started when I was hired by Leatherman in July of this year.  I work in Shipping/Logistics, and I was hooked on them immediately.  Every Leatherman in the entire world, goes through one of the 8 overhead doors at my shipping dock.

Nice gig.  So how much of your pay do you actually take home .  I figure working for LM and collecting them can be dangerous combo.

I just have to warn you. I am up to around 300+ Leathermans with maybe a handful of duplicates...as those are the models I have every day carried in the past and present. So there are a whole lot of different models Leatherman has produced in the past. But yeah, if I worked for Leatherman, I would be all over that in a heart beat.  :D
A little Leatherman information.

Frack, I wish.  Someday... I'd love to join.  I would really love to build a set of armor.

Yeah, i know how you feel.  :D

I assume it would help not to waste much money on tools.
Have fun.

Bye,
Michael

Welcome aboard!  No Gerbers?  They're in the Portland area too......  ;)

Haven't picked up a Gerber yet, I'm curious to check them out.  I have a Kershaw I really like and need to get sharpened, I'm anxious to go by and have it done, and maybe go on a tour.

you know you can sharpen knives yourself, right?

While I am aware that the tools and skills required to sharpen knives myself exist, I have never done so myself with quality pocket knife blades, so I'm perfectly happy to let them manufacturer take care of it for me, for free, since I live in relatively the same city the factory is in.

Nice collection you've got going. You've certainly come to the right place, Josh! Welcome!
