Well I just couldn't bring myself to use the BO  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh !!!MINI!!! :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh so I went and bought a regular version one :D

I just got it today :mail: It is in very good shape  :drool: datecodes 0800 on both handles

it has a logo on it but I knew that going in ;) it is going to be a user anyway :tu: :D

Sorry to say it might be a bit big for keychain carry (for me anyway) :( But it pocket carries like no other full sized pliers ;)

I use a small sized Sackup and I don't know it's there til I need it :tu:

I don't recall anyone modding one  :think: well noone talked about it anyway

Problem with this little gem is that all the tools need to be really stubby to go in  ::)

One might cut a diamond file down and put it in or may a prybar tool but I can't be for sure sorry  :(

I just noticed that the plier heads on my Mini Tools are a bit different. In the pics, the middle one (no date codes), are more squared than the tools either side (dated 0799 and 0400).

Also, "Leatherman" and "USA" are rotated 180 degrees on the older tool. It's a bit reminiscent of the PST plier head changes maybe?

Well I checked my 2 and the first one is SS and has Leatherman and USA on the plier head like the 2 newer ones you have and it's datecodes are 0800 the 2nd 1 is BO and has Leatherman and Tool on it the Leatherman is same place as the other but Tool replaces USA :( :D the datecodes on it are 0104 so there are 3 variations right there

Also my knife blade on the BO just has Leatherman stamped on it whereas the older one SS has Leatherman USA

All three have "Leatherman USA" on the blade tangs.

The lack of "USA" on the blades is pretty consistent with any of the tools that say "TOOL" on the plier heads from what I've seen, all across the LM range.

Weeeeell, my new BO Mini that arrived today is 0597 / 0797 and conforms to the pattern too.

And here it is  8)



It's immaculate - seemingly never used and I love it :D

I need one with "TOOL" on the plier head now I guess  ::)
