leatherman in french cartoon

there is a leatherman in the cartoon oban star racers. the female lead has a multi tool that appears to be a leatherman in several scenes. it is also in the closing credits.

Is it me or it's a lot more japanese style than french? Also look at the shadow near end, totally different from the character, like both legs of shadow originate from same leg of character while the other has none.

The shadow also has longer hair and long gauntlet gloves.

I don't know. I didn't see a multitool either. I thought this was just a preview and the multitool was in the feature length movie.

Possibly, but at that resolution, I think it would look pretty bad as a wallpaper.
