Is there a visible difference? REI near me has several Leaps that look like they have been on the rack awhile and I wonder if I should pick them up if they are pre-recall for the collectors here.

Three bumps on the back of the blade on the new model vs. four on the recall model.

Just some quick info on the old (recalled) vs new Leaps. The old version has four bumps on the ridge of the knife blade, and the new version has three.

Mods: if you want to delete this thread, I understand. I should have dug through the Leap thread. I honestly assumed the difference would be unannounced and very subtle. Not so much it turns out.
