Hope not, though.

I ended up with few parts from my planned Mini-Surge mod, so instead of putting a Mini-Surge together I decided first to give this guy a go.

Nothing that hasn't been done before, I just added a little bit of my personal twist to it, that's all.

Mods:
- Awl removed for Mini-Surge mod
- G2 Wave pliers and scissors installed
- Acid treated and stonewashed

Hope you like it, I cannot seem to be able to put it down at the moment :)

Really like the setup on that one. :tu: On this size I think the "old" pliers work better.

OK, so you've been doing the acid etching and stone washing on a few of your tools so far. How's that affected their rust-proneness. I've had most of the newer generation LM develop surface rust quite easily just from sweaty hands (nothing like Gerber but still annoying form something that should be stainless). By acidetching and stone washing them you open up more of the surface to the elements and by some logic that would result in more rust too. :think:

 I like it !       Would the scissors replace the can opener is thickness wise ? I would like to have scissors in mine but would want to keep the awl.

The tool set up looks good to. I would miss the awl though.

Thanks  :)  As for the rust, I'm not sure about that theory as I haven't noticed any yet at all and if anywhere the rust should start showing in a humid country like New Zealand. Fingers crossed  :tu:

The scissors seem to be just a tad thicker than the can opener but it should work well as there's still enough extra space for that kind of swap in the can opener handle.

I think it's doable... there's a spacer in between the can opener and Phillips driver that could be removed to make room for the scissors. might need to replace it with a smaller spacer or extra washers to get a nice snug fit though. if you disassemble a Kick, there are a few spacers of varying thickness that can come in handy. ;)

Thanks matey, it managed to displace my ReCharge for quite a while now, loving the whole utilitarian, raw, "don't care if I damage it" feeling about it.  :)

If the terminator had an edc, i think this would be it. The tool locks look amazing!
