In keeping with paring down my collection and finding that I'm preferring cellidor over alox these days, I've decided to put my Urban Mechanic Syph007 mod up for sale.

This is an Urban Mechanic mod made for me several years ago by Syph007. If you're not familiar with Syph's work, go check out his alox mod thread:
http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,34772.0.html This knife was built out of an alox Pioneer and a cellidor Mechanic for the pliers. The scales are alox Pioneer scales done up in the red hard anodizing that Syph is famous for around here. As shown in the pics, it does have some significant pocket wear on the scales which I think gives it that much more character.
The tools are in good, used condition overall. The pliers are the older style that did not come with the crimping lugs on the upper part of the handle, but they work every bit as well as the newer ones. I've never missed those crimpers. The awl has some significant wear: the 'edge' of the awl has a couple of dinged points as shown, and the very tip of it is slightly bent. I'm not sure what caused this or when it happened, but it never affected the usage of the tool for me. The blade is nice and sharp, no real wear to speak of, and the openers layer tools are in nice condition as well.
