Well here are a couple thoughts.

1. Atwoods are expensive - they are hand made by a craftsman in the USA - they are a multitool - they are quality - everything else you get what you pay for.

2. If you are inclined to invest rather than pee your money away - ATwoods are a good investment ( especially today's economic conditions).
    I'd much rather to invest in Atwoods and other high end custom tools that give it to a bunch of idiots throwing darts at the NYSE listings in the Wall Street Journal.

3. Buy Atwoods and other quality tools and put them away for an investment.

nice points :cheers:

id like to obtain one for use,but holy jebus the prices are aiming hi :-\.
still.someday,someday ill have one atwood with a wrench. :salute:

Maybe sooner then you think.  :D
Sometimes change is a good thing, other times not so much!

If someone were giving away free Atwood tools I believe that you would see a path beaten to their door even from space. :)

I do like the look of them - although I've never seen one in real life. They do look like quality tools.

I used to come here a lot.

How about the Swiss Bianco tools??
"Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall;
 Some run from breaks of ice, and answer none:
 And some condemned for a fault alone." -William Shakespeare, King Lear (1608), Act IV, scene 6, line 169
