I'd go for the X (and did) as I really do feel it has the most utility over it's sister models
Well because the Micra's scissors work better than the SwissTools. And a small file would be insufficient.. And a serrated blade would be unneeded. A Micra can even be easily slipped onto a keychain or a watch pocket in jeans and such..
No one tool has it all (except for the Surge before you say it LM123)
Quote No one tool has it all (except for the Surge before you say it LM123) LOL! Yeah, I see your point.. The X does indeed cover more bases.. But, I'd rather twin a Micra with a Standard.. But, I understand where you are coming from now..
Yeah, I was trying to say without adding a lot of bulk.. Hell, I'd much rather pair a Standard with a Climber.. The reason being is because you get a corkscrew, useless hook, and a back up blade..
I have had a good think about this and read all your good advice guys. I am going to hang around a bit to see if 7dayshop comes through with the goods. If there is no joy there I think the Standard is running favourite. I find the serrated blade a really useful option and I cannot foresee not having any SAK with me that does not have scissors. Thanks for your repliesBob
On an aircraft I start twitching after about 15mins. That's what a lifetime of carrying a SAK does to you.BRBob
Hi Benner, you will never see me without a SAK, except on an aircraft or somewhere else knives are banned! On an aircraft I start twitching after about 15mins. That's what a lifetime of carrying a SAK does to you.BRBob
