Don't feel bad- I forgot my lunch this morning. A nice big piece of meat lovers lasanga, two nice slices of an bakery loaf to toss in the toaster at work, a little thing of garlic bread butter (butter, a little fresh ground six pepper blend, a pinch of freshly ground chili, a bit of romano cheese, some onion powered that was made from home dried shallots, and some garlic powder, from home dried gloves).

I keep a couple of MREs and some ramen at my desk. Not a fair trade. Made a bad day worse.

I used to forget ALL THE TIME in highschool. So I bought the cheese crackers by the 50 packs and hid them everywhere around the school. Being a tuba player we had just about as much access as a custodian because we all had keys to the closets and cabinets in the band room, which matched the rest of the school!

caffeine, for me, is fine for the first hour or so and then after that I'm dead for a couple of hours. Not worth that or the pissing.

I've solved the lunch-making issue by going home every lunch time to make lunch, it's quite a nice perk of living across the road from work!

Edit: I should point out it's not all good, I've been ill in bed all week and my boss came over to visit yesterday. He was being friendly but did bring me a load of paperwork which has gone in a pile to be taken back to work with me to be dealt with when I'm back.
