That hammer idea is awesome! I currently have a little piece of rubber shoved in the caribeener but this is much better. I'm going to do it this weekend. Any tips on bolts/washers/nuts? Does the hammer jiggle at all?

It is a M6 carriage bolt with nut, jammed in that rock solid.

Did some more testing tonight, it worked fairly well for a 5oz hammer.
The bit in bit driver fell out twice during this test.

Stopped at Home Depot after work and being the top notch store that they are they didn't have metric carriage bolts. I picked up a m6 hex bolt instead. I carry my skeletool in my back pocket, and I was a little concerned that the edge of the carriage bolt that sticks out past the tool would be annoying, so the hex bolt might not be the worst thing for me (accepting the smaller striking surface). It's amazing how perfect it fits. Cost $0.18 and took 30 seconds...that puts this in my top 5 best mods ever! Great idea Kampfer!!!

This little car illegally parked in my walkway, hurt my foot and really pissed me off.
Instead of writing him a ticket I gave it the hammer.

The driver was not present at the time and he was unharmed.
