Hello all!  A few days late but I hope you'll still be interested in what I've got to give away.

Grant is super busy, so this month I offered to provide the prize and run the draw.  I will choose the winner via my favorite method of knife throwing at a board with numbers on it to select the winner.

Lets get the official stuff out of the way first ...

In order to have a chance to win, you need to donate at least $10 to the Forum Operational Fund, which you can do by using the Donations link at the top of the page, the big orange Make a Donation button on the right or by following the following link:

http://forum.multitool.org/index.php?action=treasury

Each $10 donation earns another chance to win.  If we hit the goal of $275 for the month we'll give away the prize to some lucky winner.

Ok! So now here's what is on offer.  I didnt want to pre-build the prize so I will let the winner select what tools they'd like on a custom 93mm alox SAK.

I would normally offer up any color choice but Ive only got black scales on hand, so I will make up for the lack of color choice by also including polished brass liners which in my opinion provide the ultimate combination for a classy beautiful SAK.

The winner can select up to 4 of the following layers.

A.  Awl / Main Blade
B.  Combo tool / Main Blade
C.  Wood Saw
D.  Metal Saw
E.  Pliers
F.  Scissors
G.  Bottle Opener / Can opener
H.  Phillips driver / Bottle Opener / Can opener
I.   Phillips driver / Mag glass

And we need to see some pics I know! So here are some shots of other black/brass custom alox builds I have done to give you an idea of what yours would look like!

This one is compact 3 layer.

This is a popular configuration I call the Urban Pioneer PhD

Here's a larger example that has pliers.

So hopefully that gives you an idea of what a custom black/brass themed alox SAK can look like!

Good luck to all who'd like to enter by supporting this fine forum!

Cheers!

Wow that is a sweet prize!   Huge thanks for doing this Bob!

If I was to win (which I know I can't! ) I think I'd  opt for the main blade and combo took layer, scissors layer and maybe pliers.

At least I think that would be my combo.  What would everyone else choose?

This is literally the fastet I've ever seen the donations roll in at. 7 days in, not even 72 hours since the prize was announced and we're already at 84%.  :o

Well we passed the goal with 20 days to go still... so it's safe to say I'll be building a custom SAK at month's end. :D

Are we double there yet? :D

Do you have a cool early bird prize too?  :pok:  And a double prize? :P

As for my preferred SAK...
I think I'd go simple... Standard pioneer, just the phillips added, and a pocketclip if that's a possibility?

Yes to Early Bird Draw, and yes to double (and even triple!) Draws, although they won't be custom SAKs.   :D
