Piranha / (Jeep Tool)
on: March 29, 2015, 05:20:22 AM
Found this one tonight, a bigger version of the Jeep tool, built in drivers instead of bit system.

Very original name for a pocket tool, I can just imagine the meeting where brilliant minds hatched that idea :D

Aww I was just trying to be funnyyy :-\.

I have the other one, the bit holder thing cracked and fell out of the tool. So basically it no longer has screw drivers. So the built in drivers I believe to be a step up in comparison to the old design. The adjustable wrench doesn't seem likely to actually stand up to any use on mine.

It's the Spyderguppie!

I gifted one to a young lad at work about a year, maybe 18 months back. It needed a bit of adjusting after six months when the blade got a little loose,it gave him lots of good service, and made him the go to guy on his shop floor.

He's since gone on to become a personal trainer, but his Spyderguppie has gone with him,and I'd guess it's still doing lots of odd jobs at his gym :D
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

I like the blade shape on this one.

That's a great writeup Kampfer. For a split second I almost began hunting for it, then realised I already have the Jeep version. I'm guessing they're both the same tool??
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

According to SPAMCORP that piranha is the new and improved version of jeep tool.
Bigger, stronger, nastyer, locking blade, built in drivers.
