My cartridge collection is at a friends, :( but I saw a box of an oddball round at my mother's house.  I'll get a pic and post it this weekend.
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D

Here's an oddball for you, or more accurately six identical oddballs. :)  I took a pic of an individual round, but decided to make it a bit easier on you folks.  The clip narrows it down, but this is still a pretty obscure cartridge.....

This is a Schmidt Rubin clip (yep, I have an IG11 :) ).

We have a winner! :tu:  7.35x51 Carcano.  Most rifles made in this caliber were rechambered for the older 6.5x52 cartridge.  Changing calibers in the middle of a war ain't all that bright.....  Here's the original box, 18 rounds.

I missed this one I knew they were for a Carcano not from the round I knew the clip.
