Ended up having to use this tool to pull the cotton out of a aspirin bottle. I never thought I would actually need it. I literally could not get it out with my fingers.

I could be wrong, but I believe that is the tools intended purpose.

:twak: myself then.  Huh,  I guess I've been improvising too much  :D.  I use mine as a clam shell opener and small box opener.

Wow... carrying everyday a piece of metal in your pocket that you're going to use once or twice in a lifetime... sorry guys, still not sold on this.

It's original market was as advertising for drug companies, who put their names on the knives and gave them to pharmacists in drug stores. The pharmacists might have used the knives dozens of times a day.

For http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Pharmacy+Knife it's totally understandable, but as a MiniChamp part.. meh... to me a general use sak should have stuff that can be currently used by everyone... this one, like the cuticle pusher, the hook and to a lesser degree the fish scaler and the orange peeler feel like afterthoughts to increase the toolcount.

If you're worried about pure usefulness, get a Manager, which does away with the picker, cuticle pusher, and emergency blade. Or go with a Wenger Pocket Tool Chest, which is what I carry when looking for a compact package.

I love the Classic, but this month I'm making myself carry the behemoth MiniChamp. Just for yuks, really.  So far,  I haven't really used anything that isn't on the Classic yet. So,  yeah, I don't really need a MC.
