That sure is appealing. I have the S557, but have been eyeing that knife for a while.
Fan of the Leatherman mini-bit driver and the Vic backspring philips.

There well worth having :), there slightly thicker than the Swisschamp, but there still pretty usable :)

I like quality in general, so the SAK's fit in perfectly.
Through the years i gathered quite a lot of them, although my collection consists mainly of Spyderco's, a few Microtechs, Striders and vintage Puma's.
Also have quite a few multitools made or modified by myself  :D

Similar sorry tale here.  I had one, briefly, but it was at a time in my life where hard up was an understatement and I sold it.

The big(wide) knives are fun and I'll probably pick another one up at sometime.  You occasionally see one slip through the net on eBay and go for quite sensible money.  If it wasn't for a collection though I'd recommend the Victorinox Swiss Champ instead.

Indeed, but by the fact I haven't rushed out to get another, I think its fair to assume my comparison heavily favoured one over the other ;)

Try as I might, I'm still very much a Vic man, but now I've given up on 'lesser' tool's, I would like to get some more Wenger's :)

But will probably end up getting the S557:

But I'll probably just end up buying both :)

My S557 sees a lot more use than the TC+.  That compass layer makes the TC+ as wide as a Vic XLT.
Another interesting Wenger in that range is the Motorist.

There is a Motorist 39 available now which is similar except that it lacks pliers and does not have the car on the scales.

Yes but they've all been poorly ones.  They wouldn't survive in the wild, it was kinder rip them apart put them down. :)
