I've been somewhat busy over the past few weeks (oversea deployments blah, blah) but I was gifted the weekend off (because they forgot to order a plane  :facepalm:)

So, Mrs Surge & I took my stepdad out for his birthday yesterday (Sunday) to our favourite restaurant where they both had their hit of Grouse and I had a pie  :2tu: (Maggie joined us)
We had far too many drinks and followed it awl up with a large amount of Stilton and white port  :drink:

Today was Remembrance Sunday here.

I attended the local memorial and paid my respects for all that fell.
