Does anyone know how to remove the plier head from a 600?

Yeah mate, just pop that clip off and lift the handle.

If you wanted to yes. I would not want to be doing it every day, but if you wanted to switch the heads out every so often then yes.

Well I don't think you need this info to justify a second, but it does make a strong case.

He hides it right at the crucial moment.  So what do you do, push the button down and slide the clip off or something else?

No need to push the button down, just push the clip off.

I don't even bother using another tool, I use a finger nail to pull each side of the clip out and up over the bump, then I push it off.
