Has this been done before??

I was wondering if it is possible to switch the scales from a Vic traveller lite (with the clock baromether...) to for example a swisschamp.
I am no Vic expert and was wondering if this would fit, or are there any obstacles on the side of the swisschamp? or is it impossible to get the scales of without breaking them?

If this is possible i may pick up a second hand Swisschamp and traveller lite, How cool would that be. The ultimate Pocket SAK (aka UPS) :D

The front aluminum liner on electronic models have a couple cutouts to accommodate the electronic that regular models don't have. You've either need to change that front liner (which means disassembling the entire knife) or cut the necessary holes in the front liner.

Are there any pics of these cut outs?

Thanks, i now see that is not the easy scale swap i was thinking about.
Aren't there any differences besides that? isnt the metal scale with the holes in it thicker than the stock one. This to accomedate the push button.

I made a CT34 with the electronics. I stole the outer liner from the knife with the electronics.
