DiResta makes pocket clip for Surge

I have been following this guys channel for awhile now. He makes pretty interesting stuff. Best of all, he is knife collector himself.

One of his latest videos shows him making pocket clip for new Surge. Comes out nice, but maybe not that great in use.

I'm not a pocket clip (or Surge) person but I enjoyed the masterclass.  You were ahead of me.  I didn't get why the clip was being cut

If you watch video of his collection, you hear, that he really uses his tools without mercy. And not all he says about LM is nice things.

I wondered that for awhile too. By the way, this guy has few interesting axe videos for you...

Now how about making aluminium handle?  >:D

I like his videos, shows all phases what he does. Somethings he does, could be done more easily. Or better. But it is entertaining to see what comes up.

Haven’t watched that one yet but I have a feeling it would vibrate in use

I agree. I think it is for showoff what he can do. Alltough he uses it after to chop some tree, and says how nice it is. I think aluminum will bend after using it some. It is just too soft for that purpose.

My friend had hockey bat when we were kids, and it was bend like crossbow.

Just found this on YouTube, this thing is crazy! I love the idea but the design still irks me.

What if you could bolt one on?

I did think, that if one would weld that clip onto top of screws that are on the pivots, it might work.

What if one was made with flat edges, and put them under the screw spacers?

That would work. Only little grinding on those spacers would be needed to maintain thickness. And that way it would ride low in the pocket.
