Today, I decided to take a pair of .22 air-pistols that I have. One is a Crossman 2240 CO2 single shot, and the other is a Crossman Backpacker 2289 single shot multi pump.

Here is my target downrange.

And the duo.

Looking downrange.

Time to load the first shot.

After sending a few downrange with both air guns.

It was a good paying trip. I found plenty of discarded 9mm brass laying around. Perfect for the re-loader.

Here was the target after a few more rounds.

Both have their advantages and disadvantages. The CO2 tends to get used quite quickly, and once past a certain level, your shots not only loose power, but they aren't very accurate at that. The pump is excellent in not having to use CO2 cartridges, but it is a bit of a chore pumping it 6 x per shot. With that said, at least it is consistent.
