That's a beast alright! It would be interesting to get a comparison of it with the Swissgrip though.....(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
Holy Smurf! Are the pliers as uncomfortable as they look like?

I do not have a Swissgripp, but here it is next to a SwissTool: By the way, who makes that Swissgripp, and are they still in production?

I am not sure. The packaging does not even say. Did a bit more digging. In their product catalog, the knives all have the steel listed. The multitools do not: http://www.kilimanjarogear.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/F_945_Kilimanjaro-Catalog2.pdfProbably doesn't bode well for the quality of the steel.
OK, I apologize for bringing this thread back to the forefront, but I just received mine and Christ Almighty this thing is gargantuan. I really can't see it as being a useful tool, it's just so long, thick and heavy. It's a full pound in weight, and over an inch thick. It's a third heavier than a Surge! I like full-size grips (I occasionally carry a ZT 0200 without effort) but this thing is too heavy and too unwieldy for me. Suppose I need a full-size blade in addition to a full-featured tool? I can pack a Surge and Spyderco PM2 for less combined weight. It's a novelty, at least that's what I've resigned myself to keeping it as. Oh, and aside from the combo-edged blade, the rest of the implements somehow feel dainty (pliers, philips, flat driver) or short (saw/file). Definitely a drawer-sitter because it's not going to get much use. Oh, yeah, it also came so dull it wouldn't slice a post-it note. Bigger ≠ Better.
