Ob1, you seem to be cutting a LOT with that blade. I'm curious - do you touch it up on the sharpener inbetween use?

I knew someone gonna say that.. Im carry this set up whole month .. without any other gear.. work perfect.. Sharpener behind SOG whistle and firesteel. Diamond coated sharpener .

I'm sure my almost brand new PS4 will definitely show some wear after this month

It's not that new, it's about a year old, but I didn't use it much, soooo. Now it'll show it's real personality

Well. I can't decide if I care about the looks or not actually

I do buy lots of my toys based on the way they look and their colours very often... but in the same time I like them when they get worn out, too

I just meant that it'll definitely be clear the tool's been used at the end of the month, lol.

Using my E4 at school/work (teacher) to undo staples that the copier put on the wrong corner. Saves my nails. (yes, I tried using the stapler remover thing and it wasnt working, maybe cause it was only two sheets each? I dont know)

Still going strong 5 days in (though Ive been carrying it for a few days before we began)

Lol, I've done that a lot, too! (When I still worked at a school that uses paper

) I used the blade for this task, very convenient.

Day 5:
I got a can of Grass Jelly I really want to eat for dessert, but my PSA4 does not have a can opener, what can I do?

First I took off the suspension clip, then tap the phillips driver to punch a whole bunch holes on top of the lid.

After that I use the flathead driver to finish it off.

Now I need to slice up the jelly, but PSA4's blade is only 1.5" short, it will be very messy. What can I do?

Since the lid basicly turned into a saw disk, I'd just use that to slice up the jelly.

Now if you will excuse me, I am going to enjoy my dessert.

Still trying to stay in this. I helped some friends move today and the P4 wasn't quite enough for what I needed it for. It managed, but a bigger MT would have been nice.
Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take pictures. Used the pliers to loosen up some nuts, so we could move an old hinge out of the way on a door; that was the easy part. Bigger pliers would have been better, but the P4 managed quite nicely.
The big problem, came when I had to cut some string, used for a paddock - the kind with a thin metal-wire intwined, to conduct current. The blade on the P4 was not happy about cutting through that. Once again, a bigger MT would have been nice, either with better cutting pliers or a serrated blade.
Now, I've got to check the blade and resharpen it.

Here's to hoping the P4 gets a slow day tomorrow.

Today the PS4 was used to replace a light switch cover. The driver's are no doubt "real", and can handle light to medium jobs. Better than the "driver" on a Classic SD, but obviously not as good as something bigger. So like everything in life, there is a cost-benefit analysis that we must go through (consciously or otherwise). The benefit with the PS4 is clearly its size, which allows it to ride with you all day every day, coupled with a reasonable degree of utility. I very much prefer the scissors on the Victorinox 58mm lineup, and will add those when this fine challenge has completed. As I prefer the 58mm scissors, I might also prefer to pair with it the Squirt P4 rather than the PS4. The P4 has no scissors - which is fine if you pair it with a 58mm - but retains the awl/punch that is missing from the PS4. The real conclusion from all of this is that there is never an excuse not to have a basic degree of utility in your pocket, purse or Man Sack.

Fished out a tiny plastic piece after someone broke my side view mirror...fixed it later using the pliers to hold tiny pieces while I glued it in place.
