I have many wishes, some are even reasonable Quote from: mrynnr on August 11, 2015, 05:58:31 AMQuote from: 50ft-trad on August 11, 2015, 02:13:18 AMJuice sized Victorinox Spirit (either knifeless, or non-locking blade)id buy that! Me tooNot too small though. I think they should make it blade-less with metal file (with a diamond side please) and scissors for an overall smaller package.I feel a smaller Spirit would be more directed at an urban crowd, so I'd choose a metal file over a wood saw and scissors over a blade. And if we are at it, why not make different frame colors available?
My MT wish would be for Victorinox to have the manufacturing rights for LM and Gerber. I personally think the QC level would shoot up. Oh, Gerber would still need to make the MP600 so it would stay clunky. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Normal Vic scissors in the Spirit. I'm just eyeballin' it, but looks like 91mm scissors would fit... if not, then surely 84mm scissors would? (If they still made 'em.) It's not that the Spirit scissors are bad, they're just small.

It's not that the Spirit scissors are bad, they're just small. If the scissors from 91mm SAKs would fit, they would have done it, rather than spend resources to design completely new ones. Victorinox is the king of creating new models from the existing parts bins. It is The Swiss Way of business to develop a new design only once in a blue moon, then gradually refine it. One thing at a time, quality before quantity. Rolex does the same thing. After seeing the reviews on YouTube, they look more like 'snips' than scissors. You know, for cutting loose threads and maybe the odd small cable tie here and there. But I can see how those expecting 'proper scissors' would be disappointed.
MORE. RETAIL. STORES. Or outlets.
Sliding pliers head with sprung handles, SAK nested within the handles detachable for simultaneous pliers and SAK use. i.e. 2 separate tool entities for 2 hands or 2 user.

For the first wish, are you aware of the the Leatherman OHT? Its head is slide-out (Gerber-style) and also sprung. It's kind of an ugly MT though, hehehe.
