Wenger Professional: what's the deal?

So what's the thing on the Professional range? Bigger size? Different material on the scales?
There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!

I thought they were their equivalent of the alox, just smooth scaled instead of that icky texture, but I might be miles off the mark

Made from parts from Standard Issue knives without outside liners. Has man made nylon or plastic scales. Typically made with the working person/user in mind. Like gardeners, florists, woodworkers, carpenters, etc. Some unique variations all based upon the same size frame.

93mm sized blade is nice and the brass pins are just classy.
A mix of Soldier type cap lifter and Wenger style can opener; I like my only example but wish the main spring had more of a Victorinox snap rather than the softer feel typical of Wengers.
