Thought it would be rude not to introduce myself.
My name is Dave and I'm a SAK-aholic.
I was about to go on holiday and decided I needed a survival knife with the tools I required for 2 weeks in the Med i.e. corkscrew and bottle opener. A quick Google search expecting to find something like a Vic Waiter showed up a picture of a Vic 108mm GAK and one look at the saw/bottle opener beast and that was as they say, was that.
I am trying to track down some rare 108mm's like the green Trooper, Stag Hunter and Mauser (assuming the Fireman and Walther are like Unicorn poop), if there are any members out there with some top tips I would appreciate it.

What part of Devon are you living in?

Your best bet for tools like that is to post in the tools wanted section here, and, eBay (which is problem in the UK, as they do not list knives).

Besides the obvious Ebay suggestion, I do recommend regularly check on our MT for Sale board.  I remember seeing Mauser showing up from time to time.
