Wave handle cracks

Hello again

Found one more bad thing happened to my Wave - never fallen, never got hit by anything, yet check out the pic



It actually looks worse than it seems in the picture

Is that just mine or you guys have the same issue? Should I send that for replacement?

Got that on mine too.  It's where the sheet of stainless steel tears as the tight bend is formed next to a sharp inside corner.  Unlikely to cause any problems, but looks a bit ugly.

It is normal. Not worth stressing (hehee, sorry) over it. Happens on other brands too.

I have the same tear on my wave
I could have gone my whole life without ever really noticing it.
I am not going to give  it any more attention.

Ignore it , it won't cause any issue

Ah ok. I thought that might of been the spot in question, but i'n my opinion its nothing. I get weird about small imperfections sometimes, but this one would not bug me as long as you cannot feel it at all.

Off topic but I noticed the new coarse needle nose on that wave. Do we have a wave date stamp in the new plier head thread?

I actually put down my beer and walked out to my pack in my truck for this one. Mine looks exactly the same. What Leatherman lacks in perfection, they definitely make up for on consistency. LM FTW!
