I personally prefer the car seat method.

Don't forget the nutritional value of cycling or motorbiking. If you don't keep your mouth shut, you're bound to reach your destination well fed...
Hehe...i rode 100 miles in the hot texas sun one August at a bike tour called Hotter N Hell. Afterwards i went to take a leak and it felt like someone shoved a red hot multitool between my wee wee and my swampbutt .Too much info?It was then i went on a quest to find the perfect bicycle seat. Enter Brooks saddles.(Image removed from quote.)
Recumbents have nice, comfy seats.(Image removed from quote.)
I've found that those gel saddle covers do more harm than good on long rides, they're fine for a pop down to the shops sort of ride but if i ever did more than a couple of miles on them i found them horrible. YMMV
