Finishing out this 30 days my cadet was actually called into service, this morning.  The case on my old cheaters needed some help as the hinge pin started to slide out.  Not a tragic situation but the large flathead took over and slid it back.
I also cut my last cigar, for the month bit I think y'all have seen enough of those.

Day 30

The Cadet did pretty well these past 30 days.  Or should I say, I did pretty well with the Cadet these past 30 days.  I thought I would miss the Phillips from my Super Tinker but I did good without it.  I did miss the scissors a few times but the knife handle that duty just fine.  Just like having dedicated scissors.

Thanks to RP for hosting this challenge in spite of his busy schedule.  It's been fun.  I think I might pick up a green Cadet down the road.

Day 31

Having a coffee with the cadet to celebrate a month travelling together .  It's been fun, but im looking forward to getting back to my 93 mm regular Pioneer/farmer carry as I've missed the larger van opener , awl and saw at times this month .
Thanks everyone else for participating/organising the whole shebang  and hope you've all enjoyed the ride with your various Cadets

Echo, that is a beautiful collection!

I second that statement!  Beautiful collection indeed!

Good collection is never bad. Beautiful!

Thanks awl

Badge added to list and awarded to Storm and Echotech.

I have decided not to get this badge. I wanted this challenge to be a more of a Cadet training experience, with jokes, mini challenges, etc, but I've barely posted in this myself. I've been swamped with work so I have had little down time. You have done an excellent job posting in this, thank you to all who made this fun.

Thanks RP  :hatsoff:  :tu:

Day 30

Thank you RP for hosting this challenge. Getting to know the Cadet better has been fun. It will be a regular part of my rotation going forward.

Finishing out with a picture of my Cadet collection (minus my extra Winter Magic).

Thanks, Antti.
I always feel like there's something missing after a 30 day challenge happens during a month with 31 days.
My cadet still rides in this phone case.  When I carry a different case, I always feel like I'm missing something.

So, to finish off the month, here's the case once again,

For me, I searched the entire last 3 weeks of this challenge for other possible colors to add to my SILVER and ROYAL BLUE (DLT).

I did find a new BLACK CADET.

BUT, not a RED😢

After we closed out MARCH, the search continued.   And, a few were found on the auction site, but at high $s.

Then I observed a new listing, a little wear, priced high but reasonable.  With a MAKE AN OFFER option.

I did MAO, about the $s of a new one back when. Few hours later my email chirps with posting of a payment.

RED arrived, pocket wear on the ALOX, tools have no indication ever used.  One finger print on the main blade.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

So, for me a typical challenge. Never actually used a knife. Started using MARCH 1, carried every day.  Liked. Looked at using by BLUE, but nope. Searched for BLSCK, received and used, wanted RED. SEARCHED!!!

Now feel complete😎
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Thank you, a little wear on the ends , both sides.  Definitely pocket related.
Actually better than new, As I can make this a USER with out a worry.
