I currently work 05:00 to 13:30.

I like your hours!

Me too!(But I doubt it is gonna take a while for me to adjust)

Work?     I'm retired!   :D

I like his the best.

Seriously, I feel work hours in Asia is genuinely longer.  9-5 jobs are only found in the government jobs, and most jobs have much longer hours.

My hours are semi-flexible, 9-10 in the morning, but will last until whenever that day is over.  Sometime necessary business meeting or dinner will drag on late into the night, and sometimes I get to go home soon after 5.  Often time, my weekends are occupied with meetings/greetings/meals.

It took me awhile to get use to the hours. I worked 16:30 to 01:00 for years.
But I love being done at 13:30 and have the rest of the day to do whatever.

I think what's nice about this is you could totally avoid the traffic, and almost having a half day off each day!  :tu:
Exactly!

Here it's kinda  difficult to find jobs paying *per hour*, which is awesome. Most jobs pay just a .. generic monthly based salary. If you find something that pays per hour, it may bring you a lot more (or you can work a lot less for) than what you get paid in a regular full-time job. That's why I prefer and try to get part-time jobs that pay per hour. In this way I have a lllllllot of free time, work maybe like 4 days per week full-time and get income which people get for putting in 40+ hours a week.

Anyway, I feel really happy about my jobs :D

I start work around 9 am and usually leave around 5:15.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

dks, find yourself a rich wife, maybe one who works several part time jobs and loves sharp shiney things just like you. Someone you could practise your first aid skills on.  Now where would you find someone like that?

I'm self employed so my work hours vary, but generally I put in around 60 hours a week. I'm an idiot and I just can't stop myself

Some days I work for an hour, other days I work 14 to 16 hours.  I generally put in 20-30 hours a week on average, but at the cost of being on call 24/7.  I work in shipping, and deal with accidents when they happen, which means I could start working 14 hour days immediately after Whoey arrives from Spain (as happened last year) or I could get a phone call at 10pm on a Saturday evening to attend a container full of uranium that has been dropped.

When these sorts of incidents happen I could literally be working 16-20 hours a day until they are properly dealt with.  It makes it almost impossible to schedule things and I have wasted a lot of concert tickets and cancelled a lot of doctor/dentist etc appointments over the years as a result.

But then my job is far from ordinary around here....

Def

Sooo... You work 24/7 all year round = all the time?

Now if I have to describe my jobs, I'm gonna get totally confused myself :ahhh

Job 1: Theoretically 8am to 12pm, but I can run errands all day long from when I get up to when I go to bed or not at all, so yeah.

Job 2: 7pm to 9pm Mon-Wed, plus some other stuff I do during the day which may take up to two hours

Job 3, which hasn't started yet, but it'll be another part-time long-term thingie, each Saturday 7am - 7pm, the commute's included in this.

Otherwise, the *normal* people usually work from 9am to 5pm, more and more often. Previously it was common to have 1st and 2nd shifts, but not anymore, it seems

Uhm... What? ???

My work day typically starts about 3:15am and ends between 6 and 7 pm.  The average week is between 65-70 hrs.
