Also Navitool got Signal mirror that another way make fire.. Sun+ Signal Mirror + charcloth = Fire  :gimme: .. Soon i add Live Fire Paracord on whistle make bowdrill .. Five way make fire ..

Wow, how many ways do you need to make fire when you are packing a bic?  LOL  I never heard of the Fire Paracord til now!  :)

Master making fire with ferro rod using a) natural tinder and b) all the usual suspects like char cloth, cotton wool & petroleum jelly, fat wood....etc etc.

For chemical methods I only have Potassium permanganate + glycerin.

Sun driven methods like magnifying glasses and those parabolic concentrators  need some practice as well.

Then there's the zillion ways of friction fire lighting that I have yet to master........or even manage ONCE!  >:(
 :D


Once you can do these you'll be ready for when that BIC runs dry :D
