PST II Lanyard Attachment problem.
on: October 16, 2015, 10:16:35 PM
Awhile back, I put a keyring from a 58mm Victorinox parts kit onto my PST II's lanyard attachment and threaded a Victorinox lanyard pull on it.  At that time the lanyard attachment was pointing straight towards the pliers.  Now, the lanyard attachment has rotated 90 degrees and is beginning to catch on the pliers when I open them up, which is a big problem.

How do I put the ring back in it's correct position.

Just turn it or the knurled screw with a pair of needlenose pliers.

Fixed.  Looking at how deformed the ends of the plier end screws are, I believe this was a problem the former owner must have had more than once as well.
