So I played with my Wave today...I work at a sign shop so we havelots of those extra odd pieces of vinyl stickers. What I did today is made a patternto cover the handle matte black with the sticker. It will hold up pretty well, better thanpaint and won't chip off and protects the surface as well. Here are a few shots. It's not that perfect on the edges but works. I've been toying with that idea for a while, to put some sort of tape on my Vic Spirit to make it less slippery but I didn't know how well it would it adhere to the metal and how much would that improve grip. I was looking at gaffer tape but meh, I don't think it'll stay on for long. Do tell, please, in your opinion, do the vinyl strips improve grip and are they likely to become unglued under stress? That Wave looks good, by the way

Stuff is like sand paper and incredibly sticky.

Apart from keeping my hands intact, my other concern is having glue creep into the Spirit's locks and springs. I put some tape for tool handles someone gave on a hammer I keep in the car and I noticed that the way it is it could (will) give me blisters and that some glue had come out, probably due to heat, and was making a mess
