Not quite the same, where plural equals singular, as far as I'm aware this instant... irregular plural forms, yes (mostly imported nouns).

Tina and Len have finished the Discount Millenium Falcon and are testing its moon-walk retrieval capabilities. Not up to MJ Standard yet (Michael Jackson) but there's time yet.

I'll just point out that "legos are awesome" is correct if you are in the US.  It's just the rest of the world (including the Danes) who say "lego is...".   ;)

OK, so as I understand it, it works like this:  When we say "lego" we are referring to a single system made up of lots of individual bricks.  One system, lots of bricks.  One lego brick, two lego bricks. 

In the US individual bricks are known as Legos.  So not a single system, it's a mass of individual components hence you can pluralise Lego.  One lego, two legos.

It's the exact opposite of Math (US) or Maths (UK).  A single system/subjact in the US, a collection of sums and equations in the UK.
