Quality of needle nose on LM Squirt ES4

I have a question about the quality of the needle nose tip on the LM Squirt ES4.  Are the plier tips matched well enough to grip something as small as a human hair or is there too much gap or mismatch in the plier tips to do so reliably?

They appear to consistently be sufficiently well matched; though in certain circumstances, some care may be required to avoid severing hair-sized objects.
