TikTok. Facebook with multiple sponsors selling Leatherman

This past weekend I had numerous ads on my FaceBook with TikTok users (sponsered) ads for SkeleTools on sale.

Prices were $29.99 each with all colors available.

Did any one else get flooded with these posts.  I thought because I am part of the Leatherman Tool Group.

A thought I had was Leatherman may be eliminating the product and is selling via TikTok shop at majorly low prices.
Today, Monday, price was now $32.99 non some sellers.

And,  my curiousity, got the best of me, figuring I could take a chance for the team  :facepalm:
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

I don't have TikTok, but these have to be scams.  If it is a bait and switch with a Chinese knock off, count me curious to see the knock off.

Well,  that is my thought as well.

I tore into several of the posts, all were based in the U.S. 
provided several purchase methods, expecting to gather card info, email, tele. # etc

They all accepted PayPal, which is my buffer payment method.

Also, past my Guardio  monitor. 

This evening I received FedEx notice, with tracking that an order is shipped with arrival on the 2nd!  From Pittsburg.  So this is the only item I am expecting.

I do not have TicTok either, but FaceBook.

The ads all start, that LM was partnering with the TicTok Shop, and research seemed the common point was liquidation outlet. 

So what the hey!  I gambled, rolled the dice… says the guy that leaves the casino with $20 bill I entered with an hour before, because that is me😜

These were CX models, and had been eyeing one a while🫣

I thought it would coming by tomorrow, but store type supplie I ordereI was wrong. A OTC ordered last week via my Insurance is what notification was FedEx was notifying me.


I am now more certain that I am now to expect cheap knock off as Rich suspected.  But, not one, two as I opted for free shipping minimum  :facepalm:

Not from Facebook or tick-tock, but I had ordered another Gerber multitool to keep out in the cart shed.
After 2 weeks I received a cheap horrible copy that I promptly returned.
Scammers abound.
