For almost 8 years, I’ve carried this combination of EDC tools on my keychain, and I’ve never had any issues with TSA. I’ve traveled with them many times, and even security checkpoints at courts allowed them.

As you can see below, they fit together very well and compactly.

I couldn’t find them for sale anymore, but there are YouTube reviews about them:

I used to have one of those Swiss Tech UtiliKeys. Its greatest strength was its ability to really fly under "no 'weapons'" radar.

 :iagree: :like: :tu:

Today Mrs Surge took my keys to work with her  ::) I like to think it's because of the Alox Classic (but she has a translucent pink one on hers)

So, I dug out the spare set (which I keep out of sight, obviously) and took the opportunity to add stuff I can't normally carry into work.

No real uses but it was good to carry them again  ;)
They don't like it up 'em!

I have a Niteeyez, not liking the Utilikey right now. An SOG key knife. A Ti Niteeyez whistle and 2 tags with personal meaning to me. House keys and club keys.
Nothing that is not a key (except whistle) right now......

I've had a utilikey with the exact same setup for a lot of years.    The cover fits the utilikey perfectly.

I have a Gerber Mullet on my keys now. It’s more bulky than I would like, and I won’t have any use for the nail puller. But, it’s two screwdrivers and a bottle opener as a backup since I’ve become inconsistent with my carry of late.

 ok, still: Nitecore tool, SOG key knife. Tools like keys except for 2 tags and a Ti whistle.
Of course- 2 house keys, 2 club keys.
(Car and remote separate ring)

On regular split ring- front right for now...

The key ring holes on my USB drive broke off, so now I just have a three bit screwdriver. Carried it for ever. I saw where you can buy copies now. Probably made in China. Best wishes. G  [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Hi Tony,
I saw the Craftsman type on MTo.  Never actually saw the real article.  These things are pretty handy.  I used to poke my finger with the one I have all the time, but something changed and I never do it anymore.  Either my pockets are different, or I insert my hand in at a slower velocity.  Not sure which.
Best wishes.  G

My GITD Classic back on the keys to prevent loss, although I'm too neurotic to loose stuff!

I keep a Leatherman Raptor on my keychain.  Seems a bit bulky, but I only need to use it for my mail key.  My car has a keyless ignition, so no real need to carry a keychain.

Time to revive this one, says me.  Its one of the greatest threads on the interwebs.

When I was considering doing the Tool Box Challenge, this was going to be my EDC.  Along with a firearm and a phone, its everything I want for righteous daily living:

The long, cold, wet season of overcoats and gloves is upon us, so most tool adjacent capabilities have been moved to outer pockets. For bare bones on person indoor carry, the keyring only has a light on it. A hefty block of brass, so that I feel the key in my pocket. Doesn't come out many times during a normal day.

Instead of a keyring SAK I'm rocking a SwissCard Lite in the wallet. Again, easier to fish out than the keys when dressed for winter.

That is a great looking little light.  :tu:

:salute: nice items! I'm only doing 2 house, 2 club, 1 tool 1 dog's tag.
Lot less than the 14 items previous.
