Seven month gap between dates on a PST II
on: August 23, 2008, 05:01:56 PM
Pretty sure there was a thread about this but I can't find it. Anyway I have a PST II with the date codes 0006 and 0101, seven months between the manufacture of both sides.
It's brand new, was still in clamshell so it hasn't been assembled from old parts.

So what's the widest time gap on your new Leatherman ?

Hmmmm, I suspect there may be a typo on that 0006 date......?

After being very good and getting some early cash from the in-laws i went and got a Crunch  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :D

Upon further inspection I noticed that one handle had a 0505 datecode but the other had an 0503 and yeah i had my wife check that  :)

2 whole years  :o  :ahhh I couldn't believe it would have been so long in between manufacture times of dated parts

Kinda through me for a loop :D
