It's made by fox, it's basically a cheap version of maxpedition. So far is held up well.

How well does the elastic hold everything?  The Pioneer and By-the-Numbers don't look like they are really being held in place.
I just bought a Beefy, and although it's well made, none of the elastic loops seem like the right size to really hold my stuff.

The Pioneer is a little loose, and it'll get more loose as it gets more use.  But to me, that just means I need to add more stuff , behind it in the back row of elastic.  The LM #6 is held in pretty well because there's a small tape measure under that back row of elastic.

I agree though, that having distinct widths of the elastic slots makes it a little finicky to arrange well.  I have a Milspec Monkey Tac Organizer with rows of pouches instead of elastic.   It's a little easier to work with, but you can't cram as much into it.

Doesn't hole as much because of the size, or the number of pouches?  What's the quality of that brand compared to the Maxpedition?

Just the number of pouches.  Not as efficient as the elastic, but easier in and out I suppose.  The quality is excellent, I highly recommend that one if you want a different kind of pouch

I've discovered with the organizers that you want something just big enough for your stuff.  Any bigger, and things don't stay where you want them.  And you generally need something under every elastic loop.

I just added a Maglite Solitaire LED, bit extension, and bit kit to my stock Leatherman sheath. The extension and Maglite fit perfectly in the loops and have stayed in place for several years.

Pretty handy kit to have in your belt and takes up minimal space.
