Good Deal On A Buck 124 !

For fans of big knives or knives that can be used for bushcraft this is the knife for you.

This knife was marketed by Buck for years and then discontinued.It was recently brought back but with a higher retail price,$200.00.In my recent quest to find good deals on Buck I ran across this,which some may consider an unlikely source,Midway.

Midway sells this for $124.99 but with free shipping and a readily available coupon for a $15.00 discount,it brings the total to $109.99.This isn't a "blow out special" but it is a good price for a large and capable Buck knife.

Midway is primarily a supplier of shooting and hunting equipment and I would hazard a guess that their inventory of knives is not huge.

Love the Buck fixed blades. That's a pretty good deal compared to what I've seen on a 124 elsewhere, that's for sure.

You're right...the 124 is a great knife!  I picked one up in the summer of 2014 for around $110.  After I gifted it to my brother, I decided to replace it this summer.  I was able to get it from knivesplus.com for around $114.  I think they're out of stock now, but great knife and a reasonable prlce.

This knife arrived today and it is a brute.It doesn't sport the longest blade Buck makes but it is the most stout and is the heaviest knife of its kind in the Buck lineup.

The knife itself is just shy of 12" long and the blade is 6 3/4" from the tip to the hilt.The thickness of the blade,as measured along the spine,is 3/8".The knife weighs 380 grams=13.4 ounces.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but Amazon has them for $118.45 w/ free shipping, and Walmart has them for $112.50 w/ free shipping. I know Walmart will add tax. Not sure about Amazon. Hope this helps.

Excellent knife!!!!!! :cheers:  I had one but it didn't fit my hand well and my cousin loved so I gifted it to him for Christmas last year.
