Different blade shape I'd say. The 110 is a classic, that's for sure.
Definitely not the standard 110 most are familiar with. Looks to be different material all around as well. Looks smaller than the classic 110

Looks smaller than the classic 110 It's the same size as a stock 110.It does however,as I mentioned, have a drop point blade crafted from BG-42 instead of the standard 420HC.It also has mirror polished nickel silver bolsters rather than brass and charcoal scales. It also came with a distressed leather sheath which is another departure from the standard knife.Overall it's a very eye appealing knife. Unfortunately my pics aren't capable of capturing its true beauty.

The $27.99 for the classic 110 you just picked up, was a steal.

Where did you get this from?
Okay, this got my interest. The things we learn... So I've checked the buckknives.com website and eBay. There is an exact duplicate of your knife being sold by a seller in Idaho...he still has his listing up: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buck-Knives-110-Folding-Hunter-BG-42-Drop-Point-BladeOn the mfgr website, under Customizable 110 Folding Hunter, you can customize the 110 with an option for a 420HC Drop Point blade. It is a nice looking knife Toolguy...enjoy!
Very nice brother!!!!
